We are fun group that loves to kitesurf and hang out with kitesurfers from all over. Enjoy sharing the Costa Rica lifestyle Pura Vida and all amazing activities here.

KCR is owned and operated by Kent Graninger (U.S.) & Lucie Cordier(France / Tahiti/ Quebec) whom met and started dating in Costa Rica.

Lucie manages the lodging; cabinas, villas or the KiteHouse along with scheduling tours and activities. She is also the one whom allows us to kite every single day thanks to her healing deep tissue massages. She is licensed massage therapist.

Kent manages the kite school and shop along with other activities/tours. PASA certified and a professional kiteboarder, he is able to teach many facets of kiteboarding and is very knowledgeable about gear.

Damien is Lucie,s brother. He owns and operates the Zodiac boat that we use for our island kite lesson. He is also one of the main instructors and speaks French, English and Spanish.

Barbara (Montreal CA) is an amazing photographer and wood works jewelry… We originally opened La Sandia eco activities lodge (the cabinas 5 minutes driving from the kitebeach) in 2006. It was our lodging/activities center, our main activity being kitesurfing and kiteboarding offcourse. Since then we expanded our business to provide lodging directly on the kitebeach. We have there beach villa rentals and the kitehouse.

We are the Kitehouse Costa Rica since 2009. TheKiteHouse is a well known kiteboarding travel organization with locations all around the world. The idea is a large beach house that kiteboarders share which brings an amazing kite community for not more than $15/person/night… We still operate La Sandia cabinas to provide another kind of accommodation and pricing…if you have a car and would rather be out of the wind in a nice and quiet green garden our cabinas are colorful rooms with private bathroom for as low as $35/cabina including 2 continental breakfast, sleeps 2 on double bed or bunked beds.
